Some new small paintings from my studio in Orkney

Hello Friends

It has been a bright, cold and blustery Spring here in Orkney. On my daily walks, the restless energy moving through the sharp air and glittering sea has got into my veins.

This energy has followed me into the studio, infusing the marks I’ve been making, soaking into the colours, and shaping my ideas for a new body of work I’m developing for a solo exhibition in 2027.

Join the Life Raft Creative Co-Working Session

Come and joij me in the studio! You are welcome our creative co-working session every Wednesday from 3 pm to 4.30 pm UK time. It’s very simple. We say hello, share what we’ll be working on, then leave our cameras on and work together in quiet companionship for an hour, then sign off with a quick check-in chat. That’s it!
