Such an exciting adventure, enjoy every minute, well maybe sleep though the flight:)

Just been reading about Japanese hospitality and bathing in warm springs...sounds wonderful. Hope you find time for a soak....dont envy you airport bit...take a nice book

Yes, I am very much hoping to get a good soak in! The area I am spending most of my time in has lots of hot springs. :-)

I wish you all the very best on your travels to Japan. I'm certain you will love it! I've never been and it feels like it takes 'guts' to go there and be in such a different culture!

Take care Sam, I find travelling very tiring these days, so be kind to yourself, especially after the full on focussed last couple of years. Give yourself time, with no expectations of producing anything, just absorb and recharge. I'm sure you'll know when the time is right for "making" again. 🤗

Thank you Jeff. It is an artist residency, so I am expected to produce quite a lot, including a two-week long public exhibition, so I think the time for absorbing and recharging will be once I get home again!
